Happy 8-month birthday!!!

It's official! They are 2/3rds of a year old! Wow! Happy 8-month birthday!

June and Jude Schwind (wonder which one is which? j/k)

June "Chubby Cheeks" Schwind
Estimated weight*: ~22lbs
Estimated length*: 27 inches

Jude "Stage 5 Clinger" Schwind
Estimated weight*: ~22lbs
Estimated length*: 29 inches

Let's see, milestones...they can both pull up. We discovered this as they like to crawl all over Pops to get his hat during his early morning visits. Just a few days ago, we discovered Jude can pat-a-cake all by himself. I have the most adorable video I will have to post later. June has learn the art of sitting up all by herself. In fact, I went in to her bedroom one day because I could tell she wasn't asleep yet and found her sitting up in her crib with a big smile on her face. She still does it sparingly, but it is happening a lot more now. The main thing is that they definitely want to hang all over me ALL the time. I'm sure it doesn't help that I am staying at home with them either. I'm sure this is a phase, but it feels like it may last well into the teenage years (hah!). And when they whine or cry, I just pick them up. And I mean "THEM" because it's usually both requiring my attention at the same time. Some people call me a "pushover," but it's hard to deny such cute faces. It's not all fun and games though, staying at home with these youngins 'ain't no joke' (excuse the grammar). They require 'round the clock tending to which cuts into my OCD habits around the house. On days where their naps are short, it gets a little tense in the Schwind household! Nonetheless, I am fortunate to work from home on most days, so I can be with them every step of the way :)

*We didn't go to the doctor this month, so Dad and I did the measurements ourselves. I would not put stock into any of these numbers as each time we did it, we got a different number. Either way though, they are growing!

Holy cow those are cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute babies. I know what you mean about being a pushover, but it is just so much easier, right? When Eddie was that age I was an AM pushover but a PM nazi (sleep training). Double standard? Yes ma'am.
