How to Make Pear Preserves/Pear Puree

Step 1: Get a basket full of yummy pears from your Grandma's tree

Step 2: Skin the pears until your hands turn bright red and hurt

Step 3: Chop them up and pile them high (and ask your Dad for some help!)

Step 4: Pile on a bunch of sugar (~half of a 5lb bag)

Step 5: Stir and cook on low-to-medium heat

Step 6: Cook until desired color/consistency (I don't like mine too dark)

Step 7: Sterilize bottles, fill and admire your awesomeness

Step 8: Make baby food using food processor with leftover pears (slightly cooked, no sugar added!) and freeze in cute containers you bought off of Amazon!

Step 9: Defrost and feed to unsuspecting babies!

Step 10: Laugh at the funny faces of enjoyment :)
